When I was young my family and I would go to the Toledo zoo a lot. I loved animals but my favorite exhibit was the dragon exhibit.

I remember it always smelled funny in this exhibit but I didn’t care, it was my favorite. I loved all the colors and thought it the dragons could come alive. (I had big dreams as a little youngin.) Also I thought the sheer size of the fabricated dragons were so cool. They were massive and against them I felt really small. I mean when I was in 3rd grade yeah I was short but I was the tallest in my class and even my brother was shorter than me. (even though I am currently still very short.) So when I always thought I was tall in front of my friends I felt really tall, until I went to that exhibit. Oh man I just thought it was so cool.

Eventually the zoo tore down the exhibit and replaced it with a butterfly exhibit. I was mentally traumatized by sadness (Not literally. I was just mega sad) that my favorite exhibit was now gone, but now

that I am older I think it is cool that I was able to experience that part of the zoo and I have so many good memories from it.

I will never forget the dragons, gold, happiness, and fun I had at the dragon exhibit at the Toledo zoo.
