OLD BUT GOLD
When I lived in North Carolina, we didn’t get much snow in the winter. So when it did snow, everyone made a big deal about it. My brother and I would get so excited when we got an inch or two and school was cancelled. We would play outside and take turns riding the toboggan down the hill in our yard. All day was a cycle of going in and out of the house, warming up by the fire and then going back outside with the few inches we had to play in.
These pictures are from when I was five. They make me laugh because my brother and I were so bundled up for not even an inch of snow.
